Chocolate boy Siddharth was introduced by Director Shankar in the film "Boys", after that eventhough don't have any chance in Tamil films, he is doing well in Telugu and in Hindi he done a role in Rang De Basanti film.
After Shah Rukh Khan as hockey coach in "Chak De! India" and John Abraham as a football pro in the forthcoming film to be released "Goal", it's now Siddharth's turn to endorse a sport in a film.
Siddharth is a Carrom player in Chandan Arora's third feature film titled "Striker", seems to be a relevant title. the film's main protagonist Siddharth's character will be based on the life and times of a real-life carrom whiz from the slums of Malavni named Suryakant.
I think this is a good one to indian cinema and sports also. In Tamil a film based on street cricket titled " Chennai 6000028" was released months ago and was a super hit one.
