Success of experimental project ‘Dasavatharam’ has really astonished Kamal Haasan. Recently, he headed to Hyderabad to promote the film over there. Kamal Haasan was completely enthralled to see the results of his film and he was heaped with laurels once he reached the place. Speaking on the occasion, he said that Dasavatharam is not just his dream project, for there is another one. Yes, it is none other than Maruthanayagam that had a grand launch, but failed to take its flight.

Close on the heels of getting completed with postproduction works of Dasavatharam, Kamal Haasan has now commenced the ground work for his next film titled Marma Yoghi that would be directed by himself.

According to the sources it is stated that the film would be produced by Reliance ADLABS and Kamal has requested Kajol to play the heroine in this film. Not many times, this has happened! Kamal Haasan when making a movie will have Ilayaraja as his music director, but for the first time as a director he has joined hands with A R Rahman.

Soon after completing the ground work, the film would be officially launched and much before the release, Kamal has raised his next hype for his movie. So that’s great of isn’t?

Meanwhile we have another interesting fact about this movie. Kamal Haasan had earlier got the old title of MGR’s film Saathi Leelavathy and now for the second time he has got title of one of the MGR’s film Marmayoghi that was released in 1951.

Is it Kajol or Asin in Marmayogi ?

Padmashri Kamal Haasan without any excitement for his yet to release movie Dasavatharam has kick-started his works of next movie titled ‘Marmayogi’. Kamal Haasn had earlier picked the title of MGR film named ‘Sadhi Leela Vadhi’. Now with the another title of MGR picked up, Kamal Haasan is planning for great star casts and crew for the film.

Kamal Haasan who shared good rapport with Ilayaraja has roped in AR Rahman for this big ticket. Also buzzes are that a great competition is moving on between actresses that Padmashri is opting for. First he had Hema Malini and Kajol in mind now he is planning for something big. Yes! Kamal Haasan has offered Kajol to take up the female leading role and now it’s the Bollywood missy who has to respond to the situation…

Robot is a forthcoming Kollywood science-fiction film to be directed by S. Shankar, who with Robot, will direct his tenth feature film.

Shankar’s dream has become a reality. His dream project is finally taking shape and the actor if the sources are correct is none other than the Superstar himself.

* On July 27th 2007, shahrukh khan was signed on to be the male lead of Robot and also the producer of the film. An actress from South India, Divya Spandana, approached Shankar for a role but was rejected.

* Apart from the original decided casting of Rajinikanth in the lead role, Shankar as director and A. R. Rahman as the music composer, the rest of the cast is expected to be named within the next six months, with Aishwarya Rai, Priyanka chopra, Deepika Padukone, Asin Thottumkal,
Trisha Krishnan, Shriya saran, Nayantara and Amitabh Bachchan being considered for further lead roles.

*Deepika Padukone will make her debut in Tamil films with S. Shankar's Robot, in which she starrs opposite Rajnikanth, the film is set for a 2010 release, due to its high-cost visual effects.
